Awhile ago I received some PCGS submissions and although out of 15 coins submitted, 2 came back Details grade and one came back No Service. In regards to the No Service it is an 1861 Indian Head Cent, which I thought it would come back in a details grade anyways since there was some damage on the reverse. I do note there is some green and magenta/pink toning on the obverse. Can anyone explain why it would receive a No Service body bag instead of a Details Grade? Also I had a partial 1958 sealed US mint set. I sent out the remaining coins in the set for grading but I left out the 1958 Franklin Half Dollar because I was not sure if it had an error on the obverse since it was sealed and if PCGS would grade it Details. Any thoughts on this?
I believe No Service means that it is an alteration. Post Mint Damage scratches are what I think it is. What do you think the error could be. I'm not totally sure Lamination Crack on the Obverse? But they would be able to attribute that issue.
