What does this even mean? Not Red Brown I hope, because it's certainly not.

Believe it or not its Red Brown. It may have been RB when it was encapsulated but I doubt it.

That coin is absolutely not red brown. And from the looks of the very center of the obverse I think it is details.
Even if it was a straight grade, red brown would have to be MS or close to it. This coin looks like F. And there's more stuff on the reverse that looks details to me. Coins may tone inside plastic, but they aren't going from red brown to details/fine inside. Fake holder?
If it wasn't details I wouldn't put this higher than $50 retail. And if it is details then half that max.

In agreement with previous comments. Entering serial number into ICG cert verification returned this:

So, ICG called it "genuine" and that's why it wasn't given a grade. I can only assume that this holder was from a time when ICG returned problem coins with not even an alphabetic designation. Why they called it RB I have no idea. It is extremely unlikely for this to have been an AU-Details or MS-Details coin originally and then turned brown in the holder.

Maybe if Skip sees this he can provide some illumination?
