Here’s a 1849 incomplete planchet error coin. A little over 4 million of this date were minted but even back then they made incomplete planchet errors. This is a double curved clip. The small one is at one o’clock and the larger clip is at three o’clock. A neat error on an older coin.
Great that's a year I collect as it's a Sacramento gold rush year, I also have an 1849 cent but I can't find the pic right now, but I have others!
