This seems to be a better date- what grade would you assign it?? I Picked these coins up for around melt today $22 for the lot.
I don't know British standards, but extrapolating from US series like Barbers, etc, I would call it Good (or G4). If you're really conservative, then AG3 due to the reverse rims.
Yea, i figured a g - vg or possibly f, but im totally out of my wheel house. I guess vf books for $100 and xf is $500. There are 2 on the bay in worse shape than mine asking $25 & $37 respectively. I paid roughly $3 for this one and its .925 so i cant complain.
If you could see the last date digit, @lordmarcovan that could be a very valuable coin, im sure it wasnt cheap either tho
That's a PCGS XF40. With the off-center error, it cost me a little less than XF40 price would've been on a normal 1829. So in other words, it's worth almost as much, but for a different reason, of course.
