Found this 1983 penny. Looks like some doubled die but need the experts

A worn die is causing the doubling you are seeing. Not a mint error.

 

Wexler has 4 DDR's for 83P. I lean with Collect on this one, but the photos just aren't clear enough to tell anything.

You mean, it's not a Mint Variety

 

It can only be a variety if it was a mint Doubled Die. At least that’s the way I was looking at it.

 

A lot of copper plated zinc planchet Cents have worn die strikes.
It's a die deterioration issue. Remember, flat and shelflike is worthless doubling
