I figured anything hinting that FDR was a crack-head would get me in trouble.

Some improvements for the CRH Rosie folder. Maybe some improvements on the CRH Jefferson folder.
The 68 Canada 10 cents is nickel, not silver. Found a silver one last IMG_4369.jpeg IMG_4370.jpeg IMG_4371.jpeg IMG_4372.jpeg week.
And some Beavers. A local guy with access to some reject facilities salts them in rolls and deposits in local banks.

Seems like the banks would take exception to that...?

I complained a few years ago
The response was shoot the messenger.
The Regional Manager called me directly. Said if I wanted to keep buying rolls of coins from them I’d need a commercial account and pay per roll. My response was that they should be paying me to clean up the junk they were taking in. I was banned from several branches as she had notified the managers throughout the county.
She moved up to VP. Most of the managers have moved up or retired so I don’t get much pushback anymore. Never paid as I have accounts in 4 banks & a credit union

LOL. Yeah, when a business tells me that clearly that they don't want my business, I generally honor their wish. And pass the word to everyone else who'll listen.

My experience over time has been that I have sharpened my schmoozing skills when it comes to getting rolled coin etc from banks. Tellers like treats, favours etc. So I have a 100 year old coin find reward programme - if I find a coin 100 years or older the tellers get candy treats etc.

So I found a '24 Buffer Friday in a $200 bag and the tellers are getting a box of fruit slices tomorrow.

And I wonder why they call me when the numismatic goodies come across the counter?

Sometime I might share some of the truly remarkable and practically unbelievable finds I have gotten from tellers.

    Dime box #11:
    2009-P, 2009-D.

Also got 5 rolls of quarters for the heck of it. Found 3 bicentennials (2 P, 1 D) and a 2025-P Juliette Gordon Low (swear I don't see many of these, so may as well save one).

I didn't take photos but this was interesting. I picked up 3 rolls in my futile search for a W (S, silver, upgrades, Althea Gibson) and I have 9 looks at a W. (I haven't looked yet, I do that after I spend the throw backs.)
So anyway in the 3rd roll, there were 2 super shiny coins in a group of 3 coins. I thought one might be an S. (both Ds) The luster on the reverses are tremendous and no nicks. Delaware state and Michigan state. On the Washington obverses are a few nicks, but they both upgraded my album. A 27 year old coin and a 22 year old coin. Must have been part of some small dump. Technically they can only be AU, but if they didn't have those nicks on the obverse they would grade MS easy.

I've come to learn the 10 reverse designs of all the quarters that could potentially be W's lol. There still has to be some of them out there.

Essentially everything I'm looking for in quarters. Quarters are expensive to look through, though I do get to peek at some free at work.

Basically, hoping to find amongst quarters maybe:
    silver
    W
    S-minted business strikes
    proofs
bicentennial (kind of a thing with me, I'll save all of these I find lol)
foreign coins about the size of a quarter
Althea Gibson, Mayflower, Revolutionary War (all the categories above, I've found at least once. But nothing yet in this one!)
