I've had this coin for a little while now but finally started looking at it more. Under closer inspection, I saw the repunched P in republica, then something with the date. The last 1 looks to have remnants of a 0, particularly on the right side.

The date also had some strange growth on it, so I did a acetone bath which removed it all. Now the date is showing much more, like something with the 8 (repunched or doubled), the 3 has a raised bar at the bottom loop, and the last 1 still has a faint indication of a prior 0.

I have to ask here because I am having quite the time trying to find info on any varieties for these coins, let alone this specific mintage. Anybody have some knowledge on these and care to chime in with? Much appreciated!

Fun Libertad, might be a known variety. Could be you need to hunt down the die pairing. Could be on the master die, for every obv.
