1798 large cent

    Pretty. worn down but you can still see the date and reverse is fairly strong. Bargain price at $36 I thought. AG-3 details? s-l1600-8.jpeg s-l1600-9.jpeg s-l1600-8.jpeg s-l1600-10.jpeg

    Just something magical about those 18th century US coins. I think you are on the mark at AG, but I see no reason for it to be a details coin. A readable date, man I would have been all over that for thirty-six bucks.

    Not a details coin. Definitely a AG-3 and on a good day a G-4 as all of the design is there on both sides. Very nice pickup on that one.

    I concur on AG details. But nice for an AG. Solid pickup at 36 bucks, I reckon.
