yeah but good luck processing anything through the US MINT's "bag" .... I've had the Uncirculated Coin Set Subscription in my bag since it became available but unable to process it.
I prefer to think I didn't abandon them; they abandoned me. But I still buy what they're selling if I want it bad enough and the price is within reason. The price not being within reason is why I buy from them directly a lot less than I used to. I can understand precious metals' value going up, but they're raising their prices even on clad stuff. It means something they make has to be something I really want to overcome my feelings on their prices. I don't dislike silver Eagles in general but there's only so much I'm willing to spend on a hunk of silver that barely changes from year to year, and what they're asking now is more than that. I don't buy coins as investments; I buy them because I like having them and looking at them. And well, if I'm going to spend money on what silver costs now, there's a lot more interesting pieces of silver than ASEs out there. Even in the Mint's catalog, they're about the least interesting thing made out of silver they sell. I think their reverse proof Morgan/Peace dollars and Superman medal were overpriced, but I wanted them badly enough to overlook that (besides I got them before they made them even more overpriced lol). They make something I want badly enough I'll still consider it, but their prices make that a higher bar to clear for me.
