Hello, I've come across this .999 silver coin that appears to be Russian with the double eagle on one side and a star on the other (with ag 999 at the centre) it also has the word Gourji above the eagle but I can't seem to find any reference to this. It came in a case stamped with the same name. I assume it is a modern commemorative coin or medal of some sort. It has been tested and I can confirm it is genuine silver. Just at a loss to what type of coin it actually is. Photos below and as always any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
.999 would be very soft which is why they add copper to silver coins. Standard Russian coins from 1964 are not silver. Maybe it is some kind of bullion. The net says: Gourji is a brand known for high-end accessories, including cufflinks and pens inspired by Russian history and art, such as Fabergé and the Hermitage. Context: While they create luxury items that may feature silver and enamel, they are generally not recognized as issuing currency or official investment-grade bullion coins.
