These type of coins with an after it left the mint have words, or in this case, a design counter stamped onto it. This is the Kennedy looking at Lincoln cent.
The Kennedy stamp on a Lincoln cent is quite common. I have four of them in my Altered Abe collection that have four distinctly different stamps on them.
I know it’s very common but I didn’t know there were varieties of the counter stamp. Thanks for posting.
