Hello everyone, My latest acquisition.. The 1935 "Double Date" $1 Silver Certificate is a distinct, highly collectible note featuring a blue Treasury seal and blue serial numbers. While standard 1935 notes exist, the double-date version often indicates a "plain" series issue, sometimes associated with specific blocks (like C-A or D-A) that can be worth roughly $20–$100+ depending on condition, grade (like PMG 53-65), and uncirculated status.
Nice addition. Shame about that gold and the small tear on the fold. I’d add that note to my collection any day.
Nice 1935 "Double-date" $1.00 SC star note @paddyman98! I think I may be looking for a regular "Double-date" issue now! Do you know which block is more common (CA or DA)?
