Off topic I guess, but for the record my problem logging in was I was forced to log out after clearing my browser cache, forgot what my password was, and the password reset method never got an email to me. Eventually I had to contact Peter directly and have him reset my password for me. It's not the same issue that seems to be going around for a bunch of other people.
Don't mention every bicentennial quarter I find (though they're getting less and less common!) but found a really nice condition 1976-D today.
Finds today: 1928 wheat cent 2006 Italy 2 (euro) cent Since people keep asking for pictures, I'll post some of my recent finds in a separate thread.
Got faked out today by what I thought was a Mayflower quarter, but nope, it was a bicentennial. Then immediately found one more, so there's that!
Today's finds: Really nice condition 2009-D American Samoa quarter (upgraded the one I had before) 2026-D Emerging Liberty dime
I enjoy the incremental improvements I can make to my circulation sets. I like proving to myself that a fine collection can be had. I see this with some of the ‘purists’ in our community here and I’m excited for them. An accomplishment in the making!
Change from McDonalds today: 2009-D Puerto Rico quarter Already had one, but still cool to find. Don't see the 2009 quarters very often.
Great birthday present: 1943-S war nickel! Also found: 2024-D Celia Cruz quarter; don't seem to see many of those. And a 1999-D Delaware quarter, just a little nostalgic for the first of the state quarters. Remember when it coming out was such a big deal.
Fun catching LWCs in your change! OK, after a drought I seem to be in good standing once again with my local Dunkin.
