Shame on you it's against the law to destroy a coin even by accident. Not to worry I won't tell, our government waste more than we can ever spend, save, or destroy.
That must be a pretty decent shredder to have done that much damage to the coin before it stopped. Most household shredders can't handle more than a few sheets of paper at a time.
