Hello everyone, Yesterday evening after work, I did a 2-hour Dirt Fishing hunt at my local park which was at St. Mary's Park in the South Bronx. I needed to get out and get me some silver! Believe it or not the second coin I detected was a 1946 Silver Roosevelt! I got my silver fix Then about an hour later I detected a Silver War Nickel Other items detected... 2 Wheat Cents Some other Nickels - 1946 being the oldest Everything This Dime had a slight error. Miasaligned Die Strike Picture taken at the park ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And I just wanted everyone to know that this weekend May 1st, I will once again be heading to Rock Hill South Carolina for another Metal Detecting event. This will be my 5th time attending
Well dang.... If I didn't promise a granddaughter a trip to the coast this weekend I would ride up to Rock Hill and say howdy. Are all the Rock Hill hunts seeded? There sure is some history up that way.
Nice finds and good to hear you got your silver fix. Have fun at the Rock Hill metal detecting event this coming weekend.
Silver fix: they can be toxic, addicting, and habit forming. My prescription is, clean them first. Just kidding as usual I'm jealous. Great haul for just wo hours congrats.
