Seems like someone misses yardwork like me. :p
I was bored today also, waiting for the Misses to cut the grass. Just too much for me to handle with my worn-out knees. I can only manage 1 -2-hour metal detecting hunts because of my health. Maybe we need extra things to do like read. Something I use to love doing. I've had this model for a few years incomplete.
Oh, the coins! Nice Quarter set... ;)

I don't read as much as I used to either. Who are your favorite authors? I like mysteries with a twist. I used to like John Grisham but lately his stuff seems like he's just grinding out words for $$. I think I've read almost every book he's published.

If it’s nice out I do yard work. If it’s like today, I price for my antique shop. In other words, I’m busy buyers why I don’t get to open my packages when they arrive. I currently have 5 unopened coin packages within reach of my computer. They’ll have to wait as this has been a busy month at the shop. I’ve sold over 200 items so far and I’m still cleaning and changing my space a little. It’s good to be retired and busy. :)
PS. @Randy Abercrombie One if the coins in one of these unopened boxes will be of interest to you.

I usually read books by either Dean Koontz, David Saul or Stephen King. Love a good book. I'll be so glad to get new glasses for reading because right now I don't see very well. :(

Sounds like the doctor got it wrong. No? Either that, or you told a fib when answering which line that you could read.

My wife got new glasses 2 years ago. She had a change in her prescription lenses. She complained to the doctor about them and he told her she’d get used to them. Three days later, she complained to me about it. I told her to take them off and hand them to me. I took them and turned them upside down and told her to put them on the way I was handing them to her. The part that goes behind your ear was obviously sticking up in the ear and she gave me you know what for doing that. As soon as she had them on, she said she could see so I handed her a book to read. She didn’t have any problems. She read it like a pro. The next thing I said to her was in my opinion, they put the left lens on the right side and the right lens on the left side. She made an appointment and went back to the doctor and did the same thing. I did flip them upside down. He agreed. He said they got the lenses switched. he kept the glasses and sent them back in and they were corrected within a week. Unbelievable but true.

My sister use to work for a large company that makes your custom lenses and she told me some stories. Mostly how overpriced they are.
We order our frames online because they are cheaper. The lenses are ordered through the doctor's office then installed there.
