The Mayflower anchored in Plymouth Harbor.

The cornerstone of a nation. Plymouth Rock. 1620. After looking at this token today it hard to realize that this happened 406 years ago.

In my family history we had all heard the stories about being descended from Mayflower passengers - but never could confirm that until the past couple of years - Peregrine White was my 10th great grandfather. He was the first boy born on the Mayflower to William and Susan White.

It amazes me. I've lived in New England my whole life. The closet to Plymouth, MA that I've been is when my wife and I went to visit Salem, MA to see the attractions. Most of it is people selling things and the price to get in the good place are too expensive to see. All commercialized, true tourist trap. :(
Ended up in Maine overnight. Long story. ;)
