2025-P halves are in circulation! And they hit like a truck.

    The Half Dime Arrows!

A few days ago I got my first box of half dollars in months. While the box contained no silver, it contained about 180 2025 halves, inclduing a couple of D's, and a 2026-D half.

The 2025-P halves hit harder than the 2024-P's did around March of last year. When I first got 2024-P's, the box I searched had around 80 to 90 halves.

I got this box unexpectedly, and since it was just a few days before Sunday's coin show, finding that many was a surprise. As a Hoosier, I'm not quite sure how often they're seen in other parts of the country, but I correctly predicted that the 2025s would end up like the 2024s.

I see it as a nice return to coin roll hunting coins other than pennies. ;)

HD, was that a typo or did you actually get a 2026-D?

I actually did get a 2026-D. Ended up selling it in no time, though, for $3.

They do release in May, but I already have several that I bought on WhatNot from dealers. They must get shipments ahead of everybody else, becuse I've got the nickels, dimes, quarters, and halves. I purchased them all that way.
