    Hello everyone,

This upcoming Tuesday my wife and I are heading to our second trip of 2026 to Puerto Rico. Yesterday I decided to do a dirt fishing trip to Brooklyn' Prospect Park. Almost 7 hours in a heavily hunted park and all I was able to find in silver was the following..

    1917 P - Winged Liberty Head Dime

    9 Wheat Cents

    These 3 were a spill found deep in a root of a huge tree. 1938 & 1940..

    2 Dollar Coins

When I dug up these 2 coins I first thought they were copper Half Cents.
They turned out to be Irish coins from 1988

    TRINIDAD and TOBAGO

Fun finds! Your persistence continues to pay off.

I went out yesterday some, around an old-ish house I recently got permission for. Found a lot of junk, a crummy post-64 dime, and a quite nice 1974d penny. I hope to go back again soon though.

At least you found some silver and that’s quite an assortment of various items. You sure had fun by the looks of what you found.
Have a safe, pleasant and productive trip. May you accomplish all that you plan to do and may you and your wife make time for your respective families. My prayers go with you sir.

I'm currently using the NOKTA Legend. It's been the best Metal detector I've used over the past 15 years. My fourth one at the moment. They recently introduced the NOKTA Legend 2 but I don't see the need to upgrade.

Hey! Question. How's the smaller coil vs. the 11 inch?
