There is also an option in seller control panel to not allow buyers (or is it offers?) with a poor/nonexistent history. Maybe this option was turned on by the seller after the aforementioned incident.

There is one good dealer who requires a phone call if a potential buyer has less than 10 feedbacks.

I don't fish in ponds where they use "astronomical" BINs as bait. There's a dealer of ancient coins on eBay who's notorious for this. The only thing those kind of people are fishing for is suckers.

All too often people here seem to look down on those without an established account, and even though somewhat justified, it is wise to remember that everyone has to start somewhere. Kudos to him for realizing this and finding a reasonable middle ground.

Just take responsibility for your non-payment and poor bidder behavior. Own up to what you do wrong and move on.

Can't you at least try to edit your posts so that they're intelligible? Even after I think I've figured out how to read past all the misspellings and word substitutions, I can't tell what you're trying to say.

more people should do the same, and not take business so personally.

OP is the type of buyer that was one of the reasons I swore off eBay. Haven't had anything to do with it since '09. Gotta love the price chislers that then want you to wait a couple of weeks to receive payment. And then they bid again, just to leave a negative.

Why would you even bid or purchase an item without the ability to pay for it? :bored:

I barely understand what you're trying to say here, but again I'll clarify...

    1) Leeroy bids and wins the lot when even though he doesn't have the money to pay for it.

    2) Leeroy simply expects the seller to wait until he gets around to paying.

    3) Seller says no, cancels, and relists.

    4) Leeroy bids again (with seller permission), this time winning for about half the original price.

    5) Leeroy thinks there's no problem with this, perhaps because the world revolves around him, and expects the seller to honor the sale even though Leeroy can't honor his bids.

    6) Seller claims to have accidentally sold elsewhere, not because he's a scumbag, but because he refuses to allow our hero to purchase at half the originally agreed to price.

    7) Leeroy, ever the gentleman, gets upset over this and instead of accepting his own failure, decides to punish the seller, not only for the win he claims he was actually going to pay for, but for the one he didn't as well.

I'm not trying to be mean to you, Leeroy, and I'm sorry if it sounds that way, but you really need to stop blaming others for your actions/mistakes.

If a sick child is enough to keep you from being able to afford a coin, that's a purchase you shouldn't be making.
