JB counter stamp

    Collecting Nut Borderline Hoarder

    Here’s my favorite counter stamp.
    It’s Oil of Ice on an 1873 Indian Head Cent and a 1866 Shield Nickel. This was when his stroke was active. I’m missing the Two Cent Piece but I’ll find one as I keep looking. Both coins have a clear and undamaged counter stamp which didn’t damage the coin either.

    Thanks Bruce I acquired a collection from my mom got some cool stuff. I’ll post some unique ones for all to check out. This penny was very unique The side with his head made me uneasy it looks like when he was shot from behind at the theater
