Curiosity..coin ignorant

    Would like to hear any opinions, out facts or interests about these quarters...maybe I'll figure out how to upload pictures. They all look copper to me and the bicentennial has a big dimple inn the tourch...many errors i think. Would love to know more88

    • All these seem strange.....i have about 100lbs of coins that I've collected over the years for different reasons...not until a couple weeks that i began research

    Other than the silver Roosies, I don't see anything that would qualify as an "error"... they all look like post-Mint damage to me, but I could be wrong.

    No idea what happened to that 1955 nickel reverse... someone was awfully mad, I think...!

    Most of those coins have been damaged in circulation, a lot of them I would bet deliberately.

    First, welcome to the neighborhood!

    It would be a lot better if you would post the obverse & reverse images of one coin per thread. That way you could find it quicker in a search by the date/mm/denomination in the title.

    When you put multiple coins in one thread, you're apt to get some answers like "yes, yes, no, maybe, no, no, maybe, yes". Do you get my drift?

    Also, it's best if you use the "Full Image" option rather than the "Thumbnail" because it's easier to just scroll up and down when referring back to the images. With the "Thumbnail" you have to close the image each time you want to respond.

    As stated, the two dimes are silver, so have some value. The rest are just damaged.

    Thank you for suggestion. I am have trouble with trying to reply, post, with email and such...I have much interest in several coin in my possession, and do thank for you response..Maybe some way to have video of how person use "thumbnail, full image". por instance, I click on image, and cannot find them. Is there tutorial for this site, or link one may send?
