Yes, I'm embarrassed about my avatar. They scored 16 pts in the first half, hahaha!!

Here's my lowest grade Morgan. It's one of my favorites:

this is my ugliest morgan. Got it in one of those awful live auctions on eBay filled with junk that goes for wayyyyy too much. Only reason I bid on it was because I thought it was an 1892-CC lol

Set my limit at 125 and won at $90 and couldn't believe it. Didn't realize I bought an 1890-CC until I saw the email to pay. Sigh

These low-grade Morgans conjure up images of card games in smoke-filled rooms where a dispute over dealing from the bottom of the deck got guns drawn.:D

Yep, but those Morgans were nice and sharp and were thrown around like no bodies business.

That sounds more like an Arnold Rothstein card game.

I don't have it in hand yet, but wanted to share my latest addition. This one caught my eye right away because of its resemblance to an 1886 proof I was able to check out at a recent show. I'll post new pictures once it arrives.

One more for the "low ball" Morgans, graded PCGS F-12.

A 93 CC is a great coin in any grade.

Finally won a proof like morgan auction, people bid these up like crazy so I finally get to see what all the fuss is about. Got what I feel is a decent deal especially since I love the tone too. Can probably tell by the pictures what kind of holder it's in, I'll probably send into NGC because the crookedness will get to me and probably decent chance at grade upgrade if what they say about the old rattlers is true. Also the holder looks pretty scratched up. It's PCGS MS63PL

Take an electric toothbrush, turn it on and place the side of the toothbrush head against the edge of the slab. The coin will rotate and, after a little getting used to it, you can rotate the coin to be right-side up.

It's a cool trick that I saw someone post and I have tried myself. It's surprisingly easy to do, actually.
