1913 Buffalo GTG

    Well I received the grades today and yes it's time to GTG ....a small hint it straight graded......so what did it come back as? downloadfile-128.jpeg

    The tone might mess me up. But 63 or 64. Nice one!

    Lovely colors. Who graded it -PCGS? I'd say MS64...

    I'm also getting back 2 38 D's variety Buffaloes. 1 is an womm-004 & RPM -002
    AND.....that avatar over there <<<<
    Is the first one graded of 6 known MPD variety
    1876 Seated quarter's . :)

    I'm at a 65 on that. It's a very nice looking Buffalo!!

    MS 64; hopefully Anacs didn't go super conservative and give it an AU 55 or AU 58.

    Most of you nailed this one spot on!
    However as it's been pointed out by one of the better coin photographers here Justin , my photo skills aren't the best. In hand this one would fool you. As the color as posted has been enhanced . The coin has both full and weak strike areas. The color isn't as bold as posted but toned down. The areas I call war paint on the face also isn't as dark.....but turned out to be darker when enhanced .
    This coin I have to say is a hard one to call.
    As from other specimens that were graded 65 this one in hand seems to out gun them.
    I was hopeful for a 65 or better grade. However the coin and color works for me and what I have in her.
