Coin Boxes for Slabs - PCGS & NGC Together

I've got a few PCGS slab boxes and I'm not surprised that NGC slabs don't fit completely.
The NGC slabs drop down into the slots all right BUT are too tall for the lid to snap shut.
I believe I've seen boxes advertised that will completely accommodate both slab types.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

The gray NGC boxes will handle either. Interestingly some of their older slabs are a tight fit though.

Yes, the no-line fatties are a bit snug, but the NGC box will also accommodate the small white ANACS slab if you get the foam inserts used for Eagle slab pages.

FWIW, I like to use the NGC shipping boxes for slabs. Single-wides can hold 20 slabs and double-wides can hold 50 slabs. It may not seem appealing to some of you, but at least the slabs don't rattle inside the box.

I reviewed plastic slab boxes last year. Link is https://www.cointalk.com/threads/pl...d-ngc-standard-slabs-past-and-present.279966/ . There is still no universal plastic box even though it would be easy to design and make one. I've given up on plastic. I use either the heavy duty black cardboard boxes or Intercept boxes. They hold'em all.

I did find out that old style PCGS Rattlers don't fit in any type of PCGS or NGC slab box. They are too small to fit in the slots and will just slide around in the box.

The Whitman box holds PCGS, NGC, and ANACS.

Whitman boxes hold newer PCGS slabs so tightly that the last three slots on each end cannot be used. Putting newer PCGS slabs in other slots expands the sides a bit, which makes the lid fit so tightly that it is difficult to remove. Holds NGC slabs very tightly in the end slots and firmly in the others. Fins on the slots are too short to keep old green PCGS slabs from twisting out of position.

Lighthouse has nice aluminium boxes, which entered the market last year.
These boxes are made for 30 slabs and fit both, PCGS and NGC.

One thing I didn't mention is that I've been using Eagle Certifies Coin Albums up 'til now.
But they tend to be rather clunky, hard to handle and take up a lot of space.
I'll be discarding them as I find more compact storage boxes to move my coins to.
