    I was in the AU 58 club also but again maybe fished in... Very sweet looking woodster!

    First impression was EF for the obverse. The reverse boosted it to mid AU.

    They do. But the TPG's dont like woodies and tend to grade them tougher.

    The reverse does show more wear.
    Given the tougher grading on woodies, I would go down to AU-53.

    I'm in the AU 55 ballpark.
    Weak strike obverse, but unsure bout reverse.

    I would say EF45 based on cheek and tie /shoulder area. But who knows these days.

    Not as tricky as I thought but I would say it is 53 to 55 in my opinion. Some luster along the rim of the coin that my photography skills failed to capture. So here it is

    NICE COIN!

    I almost went 45 after looking again. I usually judge EF-AU by how flattened the cheek and wheat grains are....but those grains are hard to see in the OP. The cheek looks more EF but it's a 24D (all pretty weak there). Great woody you snagged!
