Well I received the grades today and yes it's time to GTG ....a small hint it straight graded......so what did it come back as?
I'm also getting back 2 38 D's variety Buffaloes. 1 is an womm-004 & RPM -002 AND.....that avatar over there <<<< Is the first one graded of 6 known MPD variety 1876 Seated quarter's . Ah make that 7 now known.....
Most of you nailed this one spot on! However as it's been pointed out by one of the better coin photographers here Justin , my photo skills aren't the best. In hand this one would fool you. As the color as posted has been enhanced . The coin has both full and weak strike areas. The color isn't as bold as posted but toned down. The areas I call war paint on the face also isn't as dark.....but turned out to be darker when enhanced . This coin I have to say is a hard one to call. As from other specimens that were graded 65 this one in hand seems to out gun them. I was hopeful for a 65 or better grade. However the coin and color works for me and what I have in her.
I like 38d's. Im just a plain jane. Found a 50d my first roll search. Found a Wisconsin low leaf my most recent. I find you gentleman interesting. Coin talk in all
