Hello all! It's "Dime Time Tuesday!". Please post your Dimes if you can (Half dimes excepted as well, I guess ).
First, my photographic skills are lacking to say the least. However, I chose this one to make a case for detailed coins. Although the image is blurry, the overall appearance is pleasing despite the deep peripheral tone. Less noticable in hand. As a tough semi-key it's acceptable.
A couple of my favorites: 1946 Roosevelt needing a haircut and 1931-S with a mint mark that may have been damaged.
- NOT MY DIME - But I had the opportunity to hold this beauty just yesterday when I visited the Harlan Berk coin shop downtown. I brought a coin to sell and couldn't help but look around. I recommend stopping here if you are ever in Chicago!
This one is my nicest dime that will go in my seated type set. Cleaned, but toning very nicely. The colors just don't come through in my pictures.
