1909-O Barber dime

    Here is the newest coin in my collection. It is a 1909-O Barber dime. It is in an old style Sm Wht. ANACS holder and graded AU-55.
    It doesn't happen often but the reverse is the better and more important side in this case. I have been hoping to get to add a coin from the final year of the New Orleans mint.
    Heritage did a fairly poor job of imaging this coin. In hand the Obverse has a very pleasant combo of blue and light copper toning. It does not come off that way in their pictures. Anyway, the reverse has the same color combo plus that all important O. James

    they really do! Coin has excellent luster and color. Like a few of my other dimes, I am trying to identify the wear. James

    @ddddd . One of my goals was to put together a date set using primarly Sm. Wht. holders. So far I have been lucky to have found 6 coins all in those holders. I won't pass on a great coin in a different holder. James
