Greetings; I recently acquired an interesting coin on EBay, purely through speculation. The auction was for a 1971-S DDO Lincoln cent (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3940386382) but my real interest was in one of the three "bonus clipped cents" which were included. The date on the 1972 cent looked kind of fat... When the coins arrived, I was happy to find that it was indeed a 1972 DDO cent with a 5% clip at the 1:00 position. Unfortunately, not a Type I DDO, but it's easy to see the date, some motto and LIBERTY doubling under magnification. Would anyone in the forum know if any other examples of this (combined die error and planchet error) exist? Also, would anyone know of any online resources which I could look at to determine exactly what "Type" 1972 DDO this is? Thanks and best regards, Chris
