I purchased this to give to my daughter on her birthday right after Easter. They have owls in their back yard. owl.jpg Owl b.jpg owl c.jpg Owl d-horz.jpg

Nice, we have owls around our house and we hear them in the middle of the night. My mother was an Owl fanatic so was always easy to buy gifts for. I sometimes see them when I come home late at night after travelling and a couple of times they have flown in front of me down my drive and are picked out by my cars headlights and they look white. Quite mystical. You have bought your daughter a great gift @dwhiz

Ah, I want one now. I like owls on coins. Canada has made some nice ones.

I don't have any, though. Below are the three "owl" coins I have.

We also have owls in the woods across the road, which hoot all night. I think they are barred owls.

I've been fascinated by owls since I was very young. I inherited my maternal grandmother's collection of owl figurines, and passed them down to my daughter.

I wanted to get one of the owl coins but I was very surprised how much they cost. The single coin is selling for $36 on eBay, plus it will include a tariff charge if you are in the U.S. It's not even silver or anything.
