I spotted this amongst the windblown trash in the grass beside a Mexican restaurant parking lot. Needless to say, it grabbed my attention immediately. “No WAY!”, I muttered. Ha! OK, y’all had me there, for a sec. Best quality movie prop note I’ve seen. Still a fun find.
Sure did! It was laying there with the reverse side up. Before I picked it up, I was certain the other side would be blank and/or have an ad or some biblical verse on there, or something. We’ve all seen those advertising gimmicks. But when I picked it up and saw the normal design and Ben’s face on the front, my hopes rose. Until I read the fine print. LOL
I'm sure someone was trying to spend it hoping the worker didn't notice. I saw a few when I worked in retail. Luckily, I never accepted one, but I had a coworker that did who ended up losing her job. We immediately call the police. With most things in life, it's worth slowing down and taking a second look!
At Foxwoods one Night I left casino in a snowstorm had to take a leak. looked down saw 3- 100' s and started looking more found 4 more was thinking of digging up whole snowbank, security came bye and explained he said a guy won $25,000 and started his car to clean off snow and left with $25k on roof! He said they'd be searching that snowbank for 2 Days!!
The most I've ever found in a parking lot of was a real $20 bill. I've also found a fake trillion dollar note with Lincoln's face on it. That does remind that I found a 1979 SBA Dollar outside of Mcdonalds, along with two quarters, recently. It was in real good shape.
My Christmas story...Years ago, shopping at a Fry's Electronics, I was in the cashier's line in a really crowded store, shuffling ahead when I noticed a bill on the ground...sure enough, a $100 bill!!! I picked it up and the guy behind me just said WOW! Shortly thereafter a young guy was walking back along the line asking if anyone found a $100 bill...I fessed up and gave it to him. Now the rest of the story. On my way out, he was still at a cashier and I touched him on the arm and said I was glad he found the $100. He told me it was from his grandmother who gave it to him so he could buy presents for her friends from her, and if he had lost it, he couldn't replace it.
