    It looks like there might be a slight die gouge, but judging from the beat-up condition of the coin, I'd say it's only worth 5c.

    Thanks Chris, I had it down as a pony tail on the flip I can see where it is separated just did not know why. Man I wish I could remember all the stuff I have forgotten. Just trying to relearn I guess. Was there such an error or ? on the Jefferson ponytail?.

    Not that I can recall. Keep in mind that there are thousands of errors that are common and never classified.

    Those are interesting formations. We need them less-interesting. That is to say, we need sharper pictures. The less-shadowed, too, the better.

    I'll say this much based on these pictures, it's no ponytail. He already has one.

    I can break it out of flip when I find what I did with it. :) Just seems to me back when I wrote it on the flip it was common and someone told me that is what it was here. I know its damaged!
