I'll also make like a tomato and ketchup.

Nothing special here, but they're mine.

I wonder if anyone else still has their original order confirmation card. $10 was such a profitable investment... not.

And a special bonus from Dan Carr - imagining how the 1921 might have looked with the original reverse design (broken sword in talons). And the only way I was going to afford a high relief peace dollar.

I'm sorry I missed the day for the Classic Head Half Cent - hopefully better late than never. 1833_1_2c,_bn_obverse_and_reverse.jpg

Anybody know what's after the Ike dollar from yesterday? The bicentennial(s)?

Tell me about it. I got scolded for posting the wrong coin. Once more and I'm taking my ball and going home. :D

See the list I linked to in the OP.

Strangely, that lineup puts the Bicentennial issues later, out of sequence, after all the gold coins. And the small dollars (SBA and Sac) likewise. Those will come after the Bicentennials. So we will do the Bicentennial coins (all three denominations) and the small dollars (SBA and Sac) later, after we run through all the pre-1933 gold coin types.

On Friday, March 20th we were supposed to move into the gold coins, but nobody did, and I didn't get the chance to post.

Yesterday's type was supposed to be the Gold Dollar, Type I (1849-54).

The album lineup we are working from skips the Gold Dollar, Type II (1854-55), for some reason.

And today, March 21st, our type is the Gold Dollar, Type III (1856-89).

So to keep us in synch with the parallel thread on Collectors Universe, you may...

Post all of your gold dollars today: Type I, II, or III.

Here is my Type I gold dollar.

Here is my Type II gold dollar.

Here is my Type III gold dollar.

And here is the Type III gold dollar I owned previously (PCGS MS64).
