A nice token to celebrate the 100 years of steam operation. And it’s numbered.

Never been there either. NH is one of the few states I’ve never been in. Are the Polar Caves nice?

Yes, very. You have to be shape though. They say that the people back then stored their wine :hungover: and Cheese in the caves because they are so cold that ice remains in some caves all year round. Cool, huh? :cold:
The reasoning for being in shape is they have a "ton" of stairs to climb and then some caves are so tight inside that you have to squeeze in. One actually is called "the lemon squeeze". Very fun if you have kids. You know how they are, love to climb and go into caves. Check out the link that I provided in the post above. ;)

@SensibleSal66 That cave is one that I could easily go through. My wife does not like caves and with my knees and feet, 7 joint replacements, it’s just too many stairs for me. I know my limitations and I stick to them. I do hope to make it to the 6 New England states one day. :)

If you ever do. Come to West Springfield's Eastern Exposition (The Big E) when they have it. Everything New England is there. People, Agriculture, shopping, amusement park and many more sites to see.... September 18th- October 4th. The Big E
