yeah I paid over list... yeah I probably could have found one in higher grade, but it hurts enough to pay even list for a modern. lol Best of all I got my Favorite of the 5 Samoa! with the batty bats
I've found a couple and bought a couple. This one's a 66 with a bunch of white spots. This and the salt river bay are my favorites. The silver proofs are nice too. I've found so many salt river bay quarters in change that look like they were minted yesterday. I flip them over hoping for a W to no avail. The Ws I've found have been beat up.
The bat quarter is the one W quarter I have too. I'll admit I just bought it because I was tired of not having one lol. But I've not given up looking at every quarter I can manage to look at, hoping to find them! Probably going to make it one of my free ANACS submissions I get at the next coin show I go to. (Not yet decided what I'll submit for my 2nd. Kind of leaning towards the 1995 baseball half dollar.)
