Those who have collected ancient biblical and/or Judean coins for a long while will recognize the name Bill Rosenblum. I bought my first coin from him via a phone call over 20 years ago. It was a very scarce Aristobulus prutah. The following content is from an email I received last evening as a result of my being on his email list: Bill Rosenblum passed away last Tuesday, March 10, exactly one month before his 81st birthday. He was loved and will be missed dearly. Bill’s obituary is here: https://everloved.com/life-of/william-rosenblum/ You may also share a memory there. His friends at the Denver Area World Numismatists (DAWN), of which Bill was a Life Member, are preparing another obituary focusing on his numismatic career, forthcoming soon. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 11, 11:00am (Mountain Time), at The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park (26624 North Turkey Creek Road, Evergreen, CO 80439). We hope to provide a live stream. More details at the above link. We will continue to list coins on our website until further decisions are made about Bill’s inventory. Please feel free to share this to ensure those who knew him are aware of his passing. With gratitude, Brian and the Rosenblum family
I've never collected ancients, and never met Bill, but am saddened that we've lost another in our community.
