Going through some old Buffalo nics, I found this...is the one on the right a type 1? I included the other one as a worn comparison.

Now...leave it alone or try and bring out the date?

Like the sign says in the bakery. "No touchy!". I'd leave this one be. No acidic solution anyways.

If it's Type 1 everyone knows it's 1913. There's no reason to mess with it. You'd only decrease any value.

Definitely. Make sure not to acid treat that coin, as it's identifiably a 1913 by the reverse.

Leave it as is please. It’s identified as a type 1 because of the mound so no need to restore the date, which would lower its value.

I bought a 1913 Type 1 similar to that. Nice find!
