Nice smaller show today and tomorrow in Longmont Colorado, about 40 tables give or take. I didn't have much time to spend so focused on some nickels and dimes I need, found this 1942/41 mercury in XF-40; agree with the grade. Got it for $775, a bit over the Red Book but less than PCGS has it, so very happy with it.

Maybe, but could also be a coin from the future............19412. Nah, won't be anyone home by then and besides, what with inflation, what'll cost a dime in about 17,000 years ?

I like the coin very much. I am not sure I agree on the grade.
I used to live very near Longmont. Unless all that stuff is just on the holder I would be more VF. But if it is nicer in hand, then EF OK.

I purchased my first 42/41 about three years ago for $95.00, I bought another about two years ago for $110.00. I'm happy but thank goodness I'm done! Congrats.

@Michael K - the holder is pretty rough; the coin looks better in hand. It will be freed from its prison in a few months, and I will get better photos.

Check coinzip.com too. Sometimes shows are posted there that aren't on coinshows-usa.com.
