The Collaborative "Virtual 7070" Type Set Project

Good morning. It is Saturday, March 14th.

Today we move into the silver dollars. Our type for today is the Liberty Seated Dollar No Motto (1840-65).

I think my all-type "best of type" was an AU50 I had in an old small white ANACS holder, decades ago. I have no pictures of it. That coin was pretty generic in terms of eye appeal anyway- as I recall, it was a bit overdipped and scuffy. Anyway, here is the example from my current collection. It's only a VF30, but I think it has a wholesome original look and decent eye appeal for the grade.






Not so wholesome is the other 1860-O I own, which is in my "holey" type set on the cork board. Right next to the empty slot for the With Motto Seated dollar, which is the only type I lack to complete the holed 19th century basic type set.




And from the "used to be mine" files, there's this crusty CircCam 1847 that was in a blue ANACS holder. I forget the grade now. 45, maybe?
