I have put together a list of real coins that are certified and have been sold or are still for sale. The catch? They are all cleaned/details coins. You as the collector need to pick which one you would like in your personal collection. While being cleaned hurts the coins' value, these are all still worth a pretty penny. Also, the poll is not about picking which coin is the most expensive, but which coin you would want. If you want to know the retail prices on these, just ask me.

I would take the 1877 Indian cent only because that is a hole in my album I am likely never to fill.

1877 IHC because like most here, I don't have one either. :(

I'd be super curious about the Barber half dime. ;)

Teasing aside, I'd go for the seated dollar - I still don't have any coin of that type.

I'd probably go for the seated dollar as well.

Didn't see a Stella there. 1889CC Morgan all week long and 5 times on Sunday. :p

On a whim, I went for the Seated dollar. Of course, if we could hypothetically see pictures of all the different options, my decision would vary based upon individual eye appeal.

Not all cleaned coins were created equal, obviously. Some can be hideous and some can actually have nice eye appeal, particularly if they've picked up some attractive secondary toning.

I might have gone for the 1877 Indian cent but the corrosion steered me away.

Here is a Bust dollar I saw at the FUN show in January that had a problem but was incredibly attractive. My photo did not capture even half of the colorful target toning.

I'm more curious about the 1903-O "WH/LT" dime. What the heck is WH/LT?

I appreciate all the interesting replies so far.

As far as what WH/LT means, I'm not really sure. That term is not something that I added, but was just simply in the coin listing. I always assumed that it translated to White-Light in the description of the coin appearence. Hope that helps.

Another seated dollar vote. I am a seated fan anyway. But I was fortunate to be a collector before all the label snobbery. Most of my "top shelf" coins have problem labels and it doesn't bother me one bit.
