Trap Coin. 1871 Seated Liberty Half Dollar

    I saw this coin on eBay. I was thinking about bidding on it because seemed like a good price. But upon further inspection I didn't. Anyone see why? (probably won't take you guys too long)

    Yep, holed and plugged, and not done that well.

    A fairly good job doing the plug it aged well with the coin itself. I like it.

    I wonder what the graders would say ? Details : "Blacksmith effect".
    And some auction houses : "A fantastic representation of the work of a true metalworking artisan at the height of their skill, not to be missed"
