@Barney McRae I bought it for my nephew that's graduating this spring from Villanova University with an engineering degree.
I got this in today's mail, I have a small collection of California gold tokens so this fits right in my Minerva stash. I've had a 1915 Minerva for years and I've always wanted an 1849, so I finally got it and below is my 1915, both in details grade but that's the best I could do, these ain't cheap my ninja!
I got one of these too .. plus the 2026 Congrat's Set. it's not 1776 - 2016 like the other one, but still pretty to look at.
might as well finish out a anacs set too. but on the cheap. this one seemed to qualify. a nice almost camo in a beat up holder. reverse should have hurt this one
Not a new get here, but just got my grades back from my latest submission. I cracked this one out of a basement slabber, came back PCGS AU58. I'm pleased and it's worth $200 more than I paid. Win some, lose some. This goes in the plus column.
1824/1 O-101 overdate …it seems to be the O-101a actually, but it doesn’t really matter. I’ve got the 1824/1 and 1824/4, but still need the 1824 over various dates.
