    I like Merovingian AV coins too, only have one in my collection. Always wanted one with Charles Martel. However, my fav. are from Medieval period 1100-1450AD, esp. the Cavalier d'or types. Fantastic designs from Low Countries.

    Medoraman, that is a super fantastic coin!!! And a type that I would love to own someday. Need to earn some more funds first though. I think you got a great example! Congrats!!!!!

    After bidding on and losing 8 Victoriatus in the span of a year, I finally bought one the other day.

    There are hard to get, or maybe I had lousy luck...maybe because @red_spork is buying them all. LOL
