Not really.

But it's true. There absolutely no need for anyone to quote themselves. It looks silly!

 

Sadly this has also been my experience with reporting items on Ebay.
I did notice that the listing that you showed also has another seller from California.

 

I'd gotten my hopes up after two reports in a row did get auctions taken down. Presumably the "agent" responsible has been sacked, or retrained.
