MS61/62. A mighty fine condition for 1988, did you get it from circulation?

AU58. Circulated. Lots of tiny marks on coin.

There are a lot of nice Jeffersons still out there. Your 1988 is a fine one. An example I found recently in a roll from my bank.

No, I was going thru some albums and this 88P and an 86P, I will try to get some photos of the 86P later.

I would say it could be in that range. I think closer to gem.
The problem that I am having is that these years are well known for nice strikes and great surfaces.

Well the nicks are slight imperfections in the planchet and get magnified when photo'ing. This coin is definitely unc.

The large mark on the coat collar will preclude a gem grade, IMO.

I did over exaggerate it in the photos, your right.

This 86P jumps off the page in an album, the steps aren't as good.
It just has a real deep appearance, very smooth early die or finely polished surfaces. I had to blast this one with light to get the propriate look of the surfaces. I believe this one came from a mint set.
