More Silver Nickels

    COINgratulations! Always fun to find. It's been a good while since I found any. Of course it's also been a good while since I did any nickel roll hunting.

    Very nice always fun to find goodies in circulation. Certainly does not happen as much as it did when I was a kid.

    Regarding Jefferson Nickels, there are certain coins that I would not be surprised to see if I were to look at another collectors overflow or set aside for later. 1941 S, 1942 D, 1949 D, 1954 S and 1955 D. I would hold them while I evaluated them. But, I would never turn them back to the wild. I would also hold the first years (1938 and 1939). Of course, I would hold all Silver.

    The coins mentioned above seem to be plentiful in the populations I am searching.

    Very interesting.
