Probably already did this one but here we are again. The Morgan dollar in my opinion is one of the most popular US coins out there. PGS says.... The Morgan dollar is highly collectible due to its historical significance, beauty, and substantial silver content. Minted from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921, it represents a pivotal era in U.S. history, reflecting the nation's economic expansion and political debates. Collectors value Morgan dollars for their design, which features a profile of Lady Liberty and an eagle, and for their rarity, which can vary significantly based on the year, mint mark, and condition. Some rare varieties can fetch high prices at auction, making them a sought-after item among collectors. PGS Gold & Coin+ With all the varieties and collectability, it's the one must have coins as a collector. So, without further a due, I give you "Morgan Mania Monday!". Post you Morgan dollar please? Here is what I have. Not much but that can change.
I only have a couple but no pics, that said here's one I used to own but sold it when I needed some moola. There's a word from years ago!
The one disadvantage with Morgans (and other silver coins) vs. gold coins (like Saints): the chance of a coin turning in a holder isn't totally eliminated by many decades. Gold is much less reactive than silver so it's unlikely a Saint would develop copper spots or some other discoloration. But silver is tempermental, doing nothing for decades and then suddenly toning or blotching or whatever.
