I refer to the circulation characteristics on your 1814 as "honest wear" It circulated out in the big old world and did it's job as it was supposed to. No cushy coin cabinet for her. No 1804 type pedigree but a "real" coin. That's as it should be. Bruce
I wouldn’t use the word “only” when describing any straight grade G4 or above for that series. Those coins took a serious beating.
I regret selling this one years ago. I was looking for a piece to go into my NGC registry type set. This came back in a body bag for no good reason. Here's the certified one I have now, which is not as nice.
