I acquired this coin recently and would like some help with the grade please and I noticed that that value is mixed on "eBay" and other sites. So, a proper value is needed as well. I pay in "likes", if that matters. Thanks (Danke) in advance.
I would have to say that I think that that coin looks like a MS 65 coin from the picture but If you where to send it into a more professional company like ICG they may be less generous and confirm is grade at more like a MS 63 or MS 62
I'm not expert, especially of non-US issues, but comparing it to photos on Numista, I'd say there is much too much flattening of the wheat grains to make it MS. Also, the fields are not impressive. So I'd go with AU or possibly even XF. But as I said, I'm no expert, and the flatter grains may be the result of die wear.
I would put it at AU but possibly details. The value looks pretty good here: https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide...34-1923-common-date-cuid-1130048-duid-1331179 I'm not sure why it is listed that high. I would trust sold listings on eBay more.
I’m not good at German coins but I see enough wear to say it’s at XF. As for value, I can’t even take a guess. I do like the 2 in the date. It looks like the 9 except for bottom.
I would call it XF or AU depending on how strong the luster is. I'd spitball it at a $10-15 coin, but German coins like these have a lot of variation and you could very well get more or less than that if you auctioned it on ebay.
